HEALTHY EARS
Description
Made especially for dog's tender ears, this product is a dual-purpose essential oil blend to be given when irritation and other bothersome issues develop in your dog's ears, such as mites or infection. This product can also be given monthly as a preventative measure to keep the ears in optimal health.
Aunt Lyn's HEALTHY EARS is a proprietary blend of the finest organic essential oils. Our formulation contains: Clove Oil or Tulsi Holy Basil Oil, Thieves Oil, and an Oil of Oregano blend.
We also use the finest carrier oils chosen to blend the essential oils to the proper ratio. HEALTHY EARS uses Mineral Oil, Pure Organic Coconut Oil and/or 100% Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Essential oils – once known as aromatic oils – have been used for herbal and botanical medicines and remedies for thousands of years by many cultures around the world. The earliest evidence of essential oil usage dates back to 3000 to 2500 BC. It can easily be argued that the knowledge gained by studying the effects of essential oils on health formed the basis of pharmaceuticals.

Why It Was Developed
HEALTHY EARS was developed by Aunt Lyn after years of trying different proprietary blends on both her own dogs and dogs brought to her for care. Ear infections have become increasingly common and can be very painful for our pets. Often we don't see any sign at all, yet they're in pain. Other times we can see the head shaking and ear scratching that are clues that something is amiss.
One dog, Harley, was a mastiff mix rescue that was at the veterinarian's for ear infections every few months. Aunt Lyn knew the pharmacy prescriptions were not working and that repetitive use was not good. In addition, Harley was miserable. Besides some dietary changes, Aunt Lyn used HEALTHY EARS to get rid of the ear infections and maintain proper ear health and balance. Harley became the first in a long line of pups to benefit from the HEALTHY EARS blend that we still use today.
So, be on the lookout for signs of ear problems and use HEALTHY EARS to bring relief. But remember, it is important that you find out the cause of the problem so it doesn’t happen again.

Suggested Uses/Tips
To Maintain Ear Health
Lightly clean the ear and place 3 drops of Aunt Lyn's HEALTHY EARS into the ear canal and massage as described above. Some dogs may need less or more frequent applications. We suggest for dogs with infrequent ear issue, you start with once a month .
TIP: To clean stuck on debris in outer ear canal- use a moistened paper towel or cotton swab with a drop or two of Aunt Lyn's Heathy Ears and it will easily loosen debris.
In Cases Where Ear Irritations Exist
Clean ear gently with mineral oil or warm water. Apply 3 drops, into the entrance of the ear canal. Tilt the dog's head while you massage the dog's outer ear so oil moves down the ear canal. If there is no improvement after a few days, please consult a veterinarian.
