Aunt Lyn’s Luv in a Bottle

Aunt Lyn’s Luv in a Bottle is the cornerstone of our Essential Oil Wellness line. Early on, Aunt Lyn noticed that pet parents were using double and triple antibiotic human ointments because they were handy and didn't require a trip to the vet. While this may sometimes work, it isn’t always a good idea to use human medications on animals. Also, the overuse of antibiotics can result in bacteria becoming more resistant to medication. Yes, there are pet antiseptic products for dogs on the market, but most of them sting and are made with non-natural ingredients. If there were non-stinging, over the counter, children’s antiseptics, why couldn’t a non-stinging product, over the counter product be made from natural ingredients, for our dogs?  And THAT is how the idea of developing Aunt Lyn’s Luv in a Bottle began and subsequently, the Aunt Lyn’s Wellness Line was created.

How to Use:

For Minor Cuts, Scratches, Abrasions and Skin Irritations:

• Clean affected area with warm water and mild cleanser.
• Apply 2 - 3 drops of Aunt Lyn’sLuv in a Bottleto the affected area.
• Gently pat or rub in.
• Apply 2 - 3 times a day
• Should the wound get worse and/or does not heal in a few days please consult a veterinarian.

To Maintain Optimum Health and Support a Healthy Immune System:

• Use whenever you feel your dog’s immune system is lower than normal, especially in cases when he or she is recovering from an injury. Give 3 drops orally, 2 times a day, for 3-5 days. If the dog is not recovering, please consult a veterinarian.

For Gum Irritation

• Rub a ⅓ tsp. gently but liberally onto the affected area to numb the pain and reduce inflammation - until you get your dog to a veterinarian to diagnose and treat.

Aunt Lyn’s Calming Cologne

Specially formulated for anxiety, Aunt Lyn's Calming Cologne comes in regular and maximum strength.  This regular strength product can be used daily to keep your dog calm and smelling great. Just a little spritz can help prevent anxiety from the little stresses your dog may experience in daily life.  

Application:

• Apply 1 to 3 spritzes of Aunt Lyn's Calming Cologneto your dog’s collar or bedding.

Tips:

• Have your dog sniff a favorite blanket after you’ve applied the Aunt Lyn's Calming Cologneto the item. 
• Aunt Lyn's Calming Colognemay take up to 30 minutes to reach peak effectiveness – plan accordingly.
• When using for the first time, start slow, with 1 spritz and use more as needed.
• Always wait 5 to 15 minutes to see if it appears to be working.
• Shake well before each use.
• Topical use only – not to be given internally

Aunt Lyn's Holistic Defense Shampoo

An anti-viral and anti-bacterial cleansing formula with an added barrier for bug protection. It can be used alone or in conjunction with the pest fighting properties of Aunt Lyn's Flea, Tick & Bug Be Gone.  This product is effective, yet gentle enough to use as a daily-use quick wipe to freshen and protect, or for times when you dog requires a full bath.

How To Use

Full Wash

• Completely wet your dog’s fur/hair. Apply Aunt Lyn’s Natural Dog Shampooin quarter size or palm size increments depending on your dog’s size. Lathering down to the skin as you go.

Tips:

• First, start washing his or her: head, neck, shoulders, chest, and front legs. Next, wash the mid-section: Back and under carriage.  Lastly, do the hindquarters.
• Do not start to rinse until the dog is completely washed.
• As with all shampoos, avoid getting in the eyes.
• Once you’re finished washing, wait a few minutes before you begin the rinse. This will allow the essential oils to penetrate and coat for optimal anti-viral, anti-bacterial protection.

Quick Freshening Up:

• Wet a clean rag or towel (paper or cloth). Apply a quarter size drop of Aunt Lyn’s Holistic Defense Shampoo and blend. Then wipe over your dog’s coat.

Aunt Lyn’s Flea, Tick and Bug Be Gone

An all-natural, pesticide-free defensive barrier made from a concentrated blend of essential oils, Aunt Lyn’s Flea, Tick and Bug Be Goneis effective, yet gentle and safe-enough to use every day.  This formula is different than other flea and tick products because it also deters other insects such as ants, flies, and mosquitoes.

Depending on the outdoor activity level of your dog, where you live, the season, and other factors, the frequency of application can be daily or weekly.  With each application, use 2 – 3 spritzes on the top and sides and 2 – 3 spritzes on the underside of your dog. You may also consider diluting Aunt Lyn’s Flea, Tick and Bug Be Goneif fleas and ticks are less prevalent and your pet is indoors most of the time.  In those cases, mix one ounce of Aunt Lyn’s Flea, Tick and Bug Be Gone with up to 5 ounces of water or mineral oil.

Note:

• Start by using weekly and increase as needed
• Shake well before each use
• Intended for topical use only

Aunt Lyn’s Stop the Bleed

Great to have on hand (or paw) for nail grooming mishaps and minor cuts. It is made from organic, non-gmo,cornstarch, pure activated charcoal, and dried essential herbs, to help heal and relieve pain.

For a Nail Mishaps when grooming:

• Stop the bleed comes in a 2 x 4 re-sealable bag that is inside a 4x6 gusset bag that has ample room to fit a dog’s paw.
• Simply pour some of Aunt Lyn’s Stop the Bleed into the outer bag and place the paw nail first into the powder. Allow the powder to absorb.

For other Minor cuts:

• Take a teaspoon of Aunt Lyn’s Stop the Bleedand apply the powder. Depending on where the cut is, you can use the teaspoon or your fingers to shake on the powder and then apply pressure. Repeat as needed with pressure until the bleeding has stopped.

• When using any essential oil topically always test an small area, with a small amount first.

• Take precautions not to rub yours or your pet's eye after touching essential oils.
• Store in a cool place out of the direct sunlight. Heat and light can cause rapid oxidation and not only spoil the beneficial properties of the oil, but can cause skin irritations and allergic reactions if used.
